Lana stans for Born to Die
Quote:
Darling Born to Die, Happy 4th birthday! You feel so much older than that to me. Maybe it's because I started making you years before you were delivered. I'm so proud to have you as the first record of my beloved discography.
Four years though, she's come so far!

YES.
I remember being so taken aback by this album when it first came out.
I've been listening to it a lot lately and relating a lot to quite a few lyrics.
It's definitely a classic.

'This Is What Makes Us Girls' will always be the best song off that album

A surprise game-changer. It's so wacky how poorly this album charted, but it's impact on indie/alternative pop is undeniable.

This is one of the few albums I've bought on the day of release.
Can't believe it's been 4 years.
Still my fave Lana album.

poorly? the album sold A LOT, it's the songs that flopped outside of Europe, but trust me, they were huge here.
