Reviewers often get albums before their official release. Considering the album was accidentally released early, they haven't had time to listen and write yet.

or maybe the album is just not that good.

The Guardian gave EMOTION a 3/5 and then placed it in their top 50 albums of the year

Some of these reviewers (especially the UK ones) are literally ALLERGIC to giving a good score to popstars

I don't understand the 40 year old white man drag. I'd get it if it was like, Glenn Beck or some FOX News pundit, but these are music reviewers who are knowledgeable and likely listen to a wide array of music.

I don't agree with their scores and I think that it's a little absurd to review an album less than 24 hours after it was released but they are professionals so their opinions do count for something.
