Lol, not REALLY a drag but good for him for standing up for himself. It always amazes me when authors PRETEND to be happy with the ATROCIOUS adaptations of their books. Like, aside from HP, GOT, and LOTR, most film adaptations are dreadful. ESPECIALLY for teen books.

Like, that last Mortal Instruments movie should not even have been made. I can't imagine the author being remotely happy with that. If I was an author and producers/scriptwriters butchered my "artistic vision" so badly I would have a meltdown

I went to see it a couple of days ago and I really liked it. I wish I hadn't read this before I went to see it cause I kept thinking about the pacing while watching it. I can see what he was saying about the pacing, but I still enjoyed it.

Haven't read the book but decided to watch the movie because I usually like YA novel adaptations. I really enjoyed the movie and I thought it was pretty awesome.
