I guess it was easy for me to see Hispanic/Latinos and Arabs as races because my own ethnicity ranges from Mariah Carey to Tiki Sumpter, but I was fascinated when I realized the truth behind those labels. It was almost like someone was hiding something extremely obvious in plain sight.

It's so funny though how things that are so blatantly obvious can be overlooked. For instance I've literally heard people say Zoe Saldana and her husband are the same race because they're both Latino.



What makes it even funnier is that he's Italian and not what Americans consider Latino/Hispanic

There are three over arching types caucasian, asian and african in descent. Any others fall under one of these three umbrella races as an ethnicity.
