Alex Newell is very talented. But the writing is usually a mess (check the verses and ESPECIALLY the bridge of "All Cried Out"). The production on this track isn't so hot either. I think Alex is much better suited as just being a Nadia Ali type of musician.
I hated him on The Glee Project and also found him annoying on Glee, but this is a bop It's obviously crafted entirely for play at a gay club, but it's cute for what it is.
I heard this awhile back and thought it was a cute bop. This punches on repeat though and the vocals are completely slaying me. Hope the EP is just as good.
