I understand what this means. I just think it's a pretty poorly throught out metaphor. And i want an explanation on why we're significantly worse than in 1991 considering that we are actually making huge steps towards ecological energy production every year. In 1991 global warming was way worse.

Didn't really understand how we're worse now than before either. But then I remembered the population of the planet has more than tripled since the 50s, our technology has advanced greatly, more gases, heat and all of that shenanigans.
As long as it's not any time soon, I'm here for it. As selfish as it sounds, I'd rather the Apocalypse be whilst I'm alive.
Wouldn't want to miss such an iconic (second, technically) moment in history now would I?
