She also has films with Ang Lee and Woody Allen coming this year so I could see it happening sooner than later.

One of my fav actresses of all time, so glad to see her booking roles that are so versatile and shows her huge range. Can't wait to check this one out

I think Ang Lee would have a better chance at getting her a nom esp as this movie's not about Asians (See: Crouching Tiger/Life of Pi's lack of actor awards love.), but if this is one of Allen's good movies (His last two got 53 and 54 on Metacritic.) he would in theory have a better chance of getting her a win.
Cuz none of Ang Lee's actors have won, while Allen has a bunch. Though Weaver and Gyllenhaal got Bafta wins, while Winslet won Bafta and Sag. Winslet lost to...an Allen actress.
