one that i'm currently using sucks because the CD-ROM/DVD drive doesn't work. can't exactly install software (unless i download online)
one other computer that i previously had wouldn't even start. I had to mess with the hardware until it turned on. it ended up being one of the worst computers ever. i could only get up to 2GB of RAM..and that's not even enough nowadays!
of course, it's different with what you buy. but buyer beware, refurbished doesn't always mean better

Apple refurbished are literally brand new computers basically, everything is replaced and tested.
