Why start chewing it if you've never even smoked?
How do you not understand that logic? I respect someone who realizes they made a bad decision in getting addicted to cigarettes and decides to vape to help you quit. Someone who uses that quitting tool just to look cool or something, though? Not so much.
I'm not sure what that last paragraph is. My panties aren't bunched, but I do agree some other members in this thread are hating on vaping pretty aggressively and immaturely.

The last paragraph was more generally toward the reactions in this thread, not you.
But anyway, I think you're looking at it the wrong way. You see vaping as another "nicotine patch". It's not created as a tool to quit smoking, it's just a less harmful alternative to smoking tobacco or marijuana.
You see it as weird to start vaping if you didn't smoke before, as if vaping is some kind of derivative of smoking, when really it is its own thing with its own customers. Many people who vape are doing it because they like tobacco or marijuana but don't want to damage their lungs as much. They aren't deciding that it's some "cool" thing they want to try.
At the end of the day, it is another form of inhaling tobacco, marijuana, or possibly whatever else you want to burn to inhale, but with less severe health risks than smoking.
