ARTPOP might have had little impact in the real world, but ATRL seems to be unable to let go of it. It's been over two years, and there are ARTPOP threads on daily basis. The many catchphrases of the era ("one second I'm a ... then suddenly the ... is me", "a reverse warholian expedition", "my artpop could mean anything" etc) appear in every thread. How did ARTPOP manage to become so huge and long-lived on music forums?
