Canada and US should be referring each other's Cities/Towna with their states/provinces

I say Montreal, Canada when I'm abroad. Hell, look at my location tag.
Why confuse people, besides Montreal IS IN CANADA.
Anyway on a separate issue, it's also because anglophones don't want the stigma of having Quebec attached to their city when abroad, sad but true.
