News: Japan accepts 27 refugees last year, rejects 99%

Well Singapore actually has a lot of Muslims but their culture is very different to the one you have in the Middle East and in North Africa.

Better for them tbh. Japanese society is one of the most xenophobic and racist there are. They have sheep mentality and are deeply intolerant to other cultures. Being different is seen as something negative there, no matter if its just hair color or fashion, not to mention race or religion.

Their island is overcrowded so the population declining is hardly bad news. The issue lies more in the population being mostly elderly.

I haven't came cross that problem. I pretty much live here because of my grandparents. Maybe cause I'm mixed

They are kind to tourists or people who come there for short business trips. If you tried to work, get married and live there, you would see their true nature. Its sad.

It's true that relationships there tend to be very artificial. But tbh it's really not that different in the US where people will say you're their friend after 10 minutes even when it's completely fake.
