An NYC arbitrator in a court case over NY Police getting a raise is under fire for dismissing the case early because he didn't want to miss Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett's last Cheek to Cheek Tour performance in New York City in June of last summer.
Howard Edelman reportedly ended a case early at 7pm instead of its previously scheduled time frame of 2-8pm because he and his wife wanted to see the pop superstar's show. The NYPD was apparently upset because he abruptly gave an only 1% raise for two years instead of the desired 4% because he did not want to miss out on Lady Gaga.
Edelman reportedly cost the court $115,000 in time he didn't allow the NYPD to make their case so he could see Lady Gaga.
