you know there's this thing called 'collective paranoid-schizophrenia', so the homophobes think that homosexuals, married or not, have the intention to cause harm, and the harm is occurring or going to occur. Combined with innate-or-not psychological and biological repulsiveness, they act morally superior to prevent it from happening, as well to be self-defending.
still, we, as everyone on this earth, probably have no idea where homosexuality reeally comes from. we have no idea if same-sex marriage is legal, what will happen, does the god punish us for that? is there a god? or it's just how we think god would think? do the homosexual couple will bring up a straight kid or a gay one? will homosexual couples fill the role as a good antidote to over population and also act as carl marx predicted that the whole society where family roles diminish and children will be brought up collectively? how about three generations later, do people still think the same way as we do now? i personally have no idea, though i see that's how the way human history moves on.
