My opinion on WRWWR: The tacky ass effects in the first five seconds are horrendous. Who approved that? It look likes some default wallpaper for Windows XP. That tragic broken glass outfit she's wearing in the first scene that has absolutely no body shape whatsoever and only heightens Luke's claim that she does indeed look like a ****ing refrigerator. The fact that her non existent boobs are pushed ALL the way up and still look tiny is really uncomfortable to watch. Those gold things she's wearing on her eyebrows during the close ups of her face are literally the ugliest thing I have ever seen in my life. The tacky ass transparent fade ins during the drag race scene are so unprofessional. The party scene in general. I'm still screaming at the two DJs staring at the ****ing homepage of Plenty of Fish pretending to look super interested. What the **** is that mess all about. The fact that you can tell a million miles away that the screen was photoshopped on in post production since it doesn't move the same way the camera was moving makes it look so amateur especially at around the 1:50 mark. The fact there is literally like 20 close ups of that one bottle of Tequila during this short ass scene. The building jump is one of the absolute worst executed music video stunts I've ever seen. I absolutely ****ing detest it. It is just so ****ing anticlimactic. The fact that the MUSIC ****ing STOPS. The way the song was cut too just ****ing rubs me the wrong way too. Literally no effort was put into making it fade out even slightly. It just ****ing stops. When she lands it is so badly edited since it's painfully obvious she wasn't free falling. Those tacky ass effects make a return after her jump too which is a fate worse than death tbh. Apart from all that, the video is fine for Keshas incredibly low standards for music videos

It's just testament to the fact that Cannibal was nothing more than a soulless marketing ploy to milk far more money from the Animal era with no real thought or artistry put into it. A shameless attempt to copy Gaga's The Fame / Monster idea. It all happened way too fast.

At least Blow got a decent video, but they had some months to plan for that.

Now that I think about it, Cannibal was probably the turning point where she realised she didn't have any control over her career.

Hype Williams is the literal pits

Five years later and I'm still shocked that this video was green lit. I can't believe they thought that this was good enough to introduce the breakout star of the year into her second release.

This video is the reason she's a flop now

They were cheap and the song had already peaked, they had no motivation to make a really good video.

Let's be real, they wouldn't have even started filming until after the song was #1.

Literally the song's chart run was

#1 > #5 > #6 > #4 > #6 > #8 > #5 (with video release) > #5 > #3 > #3 > #4 > #7 > #7 > #10 > free fall

It'd already been on the chart for a month and a half before the video was out. It's "real" peak would be #3 if it didn't have the first week sales hype.

I thought the Crazy Kids video was trash, I prefer WRWWR's music video over CK's any day.

The thing I hate the most about WRWWR's video is the part where she jumps off the building, her sparkly underwear is like pink, but when she falls it's red, my brain just hurts every time.

Crazy Kids at least had one redeeming look, that one in the bridge. WRWWR is trash from beginning to end. Therefore CK > WRWWR

We should do another videography rate for the kiis. KNT should host with messy essays about why each video is tragic.

We R Who We R remains one of her best singles though. But yeah, every look in the video was a big mess.
