It's probably to do with black women being stereotyped as unattractive, bitchy, and just not good people to date in general. So when one of their own (black men) who are supposed to be the one group that is there for them neglect them for women of another race, they get upset. Black women might feel like they already have a hard time dating, and what are they to do when men from their own community do not want them. This also ties into white men getting praised for dating black women, because they're not held back from the negative stereotypes associated with black women, and even though they could easily find women of another more 'desirable' race, they still prefer black women. Not that I'm saying it's okay to berate black men for dating outside of their race, interracial relationships are beautiful and I'll always encourage them. But I can see where black women are coming from

Idk but it's hilarious to me as a black woman that black men have convinced themselves that black women don't like white men

Dating conditions for Black women looking to date and marry Black men are often abysmal and I have noticed the "girl, stop waiting around for these Black men that will never marry you" movement among Black women online growing bigger and louder as time passes -- I don't agree that exclusively dating non-Black men is a proper solution; however, this isn't just coming from nowhere, either:

But how is this anyone's problem but theirs. If they want to exclusively date within their own race (no whites, no asians, no latinos) then that's their own problem.

Okay! Or that white men don't like black women. If they only knew...
I tell my black guy friends all the time that I'm trying to date a white guy (and tbh black men get just as up in arms when they hear a black woman say that) and the first thing they ALL say is either "you won't be satisfied sexually" or "but they can't ****"

Interesting yes, I've seen this and I've seen comments like they are betraying their people. People just need to be open minded tho interracial relationships are really hot. I've also seen this debate with dark skin woman and light skin/mixed. It's ok tho more black man for me

Black women are constantly being inundated with media reports featuring study after study -- how few of us will ever get married, how few Black men are finishing college in comparison to Black women, how few eligible Black men there are for Black women period considering incarceration stats/achievement gap/likelihood of Black men to marry non-Black women, how few Black children are raised in two parent households, etc -- it seriously goes on and on. A lot of it is just sensationalized click bait supported by faulty data; some of it's legit; either way, stuff like that is heavily coloring perspectives. Meanwhile Black women have always been the least likely of any group to date/marry inter-racially of any group while Black men are among some of the most likely groups marry outside of their race.
I don't really agree with this growing "what are we waiting for?" thing, but given what I've seen I can't really fault a lot of Black women for feeling that way, either and I wouldn't be so quick to finger point and blame just the women considering the circumstances.

Hopefully this answers your question Ryan!
Ugh, androcentric/misogynoir thinking will NEVER end, huh?

Why are SJWs trying to tell people who they can and cannot date? It feels as if they're more racist than the people they're trying to criticize.

I never expected to see this thread on ATRL, there's certain things I feel we as a community should discuss without the input of others, particularly white people. And I don't mean that to be offensive but it's just how I feel.
To be honest, a large majority of black men prefer to date and marry black women. It's statistically true and you can see it HOWEVER, the majority of this country is white so black people would naturally have to date outside their race more to find more mates. Black men are often stereotyped in ways very manly, and considered the epitome of masculinity especially when it comes to athletics. They would naturally find it easier to date interacially, not to mention white women tend to throw themselves at young black college athletes (I've seen it first hand) it's not that they prefer white women it's just that white women are most abundant and more agressive in pursuit if you get what im saying.
And BTW white women drag white men ALL the time for dating other races of women, often times even worse than black women who drag black men.

Wouldn't someone grumbling about and publicly chastising people of their own race for not rejecting other races as mates be completely antithetical to something a hyper-pc ~SJW would go for in the first place?

I wouldn't blame black women for dating out considering how badly black men treat black women these days.
I've said it thousands of times before.
And tons of black dudes these days are obsessed with white/latina women and the prospect of getting mixed kids w 'good hair' (LOL)
Whats going on?

More like why FKA twigs received a hoard of racist attacks on twitter made by Robert's white fans.

i think getting mad at people for who they date is not only incredibly stupid but also completely useless. how exactly does yelling at people for that do anything useful? are you trying to make them break up? i highly doubt they're going to because some people on the internet are mad at them.
people can date who they want. and even if you somehow magically made them date black people, if they really were racist in their dating preferences, they'd just be dating someone they aren't interested in. that doesn't help anyone at all, especially not the black person they're dating. so why bother? oh yeah, because people like insulting people on the internet instead of doing anything useful. smh
edit: i mean, i'm not saying everyone has to do useful activism just because they want to complain. i just can't stand people who think they're doing anything useful and being oh so progressive just by insulting people on the internet.

Preach it brother. The problem of black gay dudes chasing after white penis is INTENSIFIED and QUADRUPLED among black straight dudes. It's a damn shame how black women are treated by their own kind. (Don't get me started because I'll be here all day!)
