'I Look To You' Album Certified Platinum

According to her website: Congratulations to Whitney and all of her fans! 'I Look to You' has been certified Platinum by the RIAA for sales in excess of 1 millin units in the United States.

Even though ILTY is her 4th Number One album in her career (compared to Barbra 9 th and Madonna 7th) , Houston has spent 52 cumulative weeks at the number one spot of the Billboard 200 chart, which places her just behind The Beatles (132 weeks) and Elvis Presley (67) according to Billboard.

Whoa what took so long to be certified. Not to be negative but I figured she went platinum at least last month.

Album sales don't matter anymore, how many times are we going to say this? GOOD GRIEF.

This woman used to sell 1 million copies in less than a week. If this was released a decade ago, it'd certificate at least 3 Platinums by now.

All that matters right now is touring, digital sales, & airplay.

Congrats! I love the songs "Million Dollar Bill" and "I Look To You".

The Beatles, Elvis, MJ, Madonna, Mariah used to sell more too....

She didn't even have a hit. I think this is fantastic.
