I don't see RNR handling other artists anytime soon.

Dawn's not going from her own "Our Dawn Ent." to another indie, even if it's Janet. I don't really see her going to a huge major either. The problem is, she probably can't get the deal she wants because it 1) doesn't exist anymore, especially for R&B artists (which is what they'd push her to be and 2) she's in her 30's. I LOOOOVE Dawn, but labels think like that.

I COULD see her going to a small, cool EDM label like Mind of a Genius, which is where ZHU is signed (she'd sound amazing over his beats!). Still small, but gives her a bigger rolodex of ppl to work with, gets her into all the big music festivals, etc.

In most cases I would agree. But she already has a platform though. Artists like Fergie and Gwen Stefani were in their 30s when they "blew up"...and major labels invested b/c they already had platforms.

So, I don't think it's totally impossible that a major would be interested.

Plus EDM is "the thing" right now (Disclosure, AlunaGeorge, Calvin, etc). I think majors are more open to EDM artists if there's a following....regardless of age.
