I've been to LA, but I've never been to NY. I feel the quality of life would be better in NY. The people there would probably be more genuine, the air quality would be better, and you're in a close proximity to Washington, D.C., Boston, Philadelphia, etc.

I was going to use the same logic, NY reminds me of Johannesburg and La of Cape Town, and that whole slow life and not super fast paced everything would kill me. so NYC
