This isn't that good. The melody is pretty mediocre. The track she made with Mike will on Aquarius was pretty lame too
Thug Cry was easily the worst song on Aquarius but still pretty good.
This Energy track is really nice idk if it will make the album but the vibe it creates is nice. I think somehow Joyride will be just as consistently good as Aquarius even with all of these different tracks
Man, I wish this had a better melody. I still dig "Party Favors," but her hooks and songwriting just aren't as strong this go around for whatever reason.
Her hooks this era do need work, I'm with goldsoundz on this one
But in all honesty, Tinashe was never that much about the hooks to me. Reverie and Aquarius had some pretty good hooks, but other than that, most of her work is about the verses, the build-up and the general vibe I guess.
Too bad Secret didn't make the cut over this. Wondering if the album gets pushed back any further if the material released so far makes the cut as the bonus tracks. I think they deserve to be on the album, but I know she can do better
