They had two songs together tho, Baby Boy still would've been LIT, Naughty Girl and Me,Myself and I was also coming. Let's not forget Lose My Breath and Solider was coming out a year later. Everything about ur post was a reach. That wasn't at the start of her solo career tho, she was doing movies, tours, deals, music, etc.

Don't forget all of Bey's solo work prior Crazy in Love was nothing but floppage.

He wasn't. Both of them especially DMX was bigger than him and I'm just talking about the States. Work It Out was a promo single for Goldmember and that was the only solo song she had then B&C came.

Work it Out did well overseas since that was the place she did promo for it the most. FT wasn't gonna smash since she had CIL and BB slaying. Also, did the promo for the song.

Britney never deserved respect (as an artist). She shouldn't ever become the global superstar that she was because she never deserved it since she had no talent. Her becoming a star instead of someone that could actually sing is a burden we must carry as a society till the end of time.

If you have the talent, good music and know the right people (which is most important), anything can work out. I already said I think she'd still be successful, but she definitely wouldn't have been as powerful as she is today if it weren't for Jay. Behind the scenes, he's done a lot, and you can tell by the way her career has tremendously transformed in the last couple of years, even with her not having remarkable success in music aside from her last two tours.

Reminds me of when Jay gave Rihanna a career.

Britney was talented back then, regardless of whether or not you'll acknowledge that.

!!!
Was this how this reaching started?
The GP was always gonna catch on to Britney , what would could she do? She couldn't sing, her dancing was decent, etc. She legit is definition of talentless.Everything about was the basic white girl to get quick deals. At least Christina and Jessica had talent see them being bigger than her now.

Ummm just no
By the early 2000s Jay Z was a rap icon, Hard Knock Life being a bigger and more memorable hit than any DMX or Ja Rule song, let alone the fact that he has annual albums selling over 2M per year. Jay Z was definitely a huge star.

No matter how much backstage tomfoolery regarding credits has gone on with Beyoncé she has never gone as LOW as having vocal doubles sing her songs for her and body doubles doing her choreography for her in her videos so Britney stans should really just shut up about this subject. Now that's a fraud.

The industry never gave Britney the credit she deserves, though.
The thing with Britney is that she started off huge. Artists who start off huge end up with huge fan bases (just look at Bieber and Gaga). Her endless promo and her huge fan base are the only reasons as to why she sold so much. The industry barely supported her.

Britney never relied on the GP. They trashed her since day one, just like they did with Gaga and Bieber.

She would be because she was making millions for what she was doing. She didn't label them as a power couple, the GP does it for everyone who dates. Slso, they only made money together for OTR that's it. Ur claims are inaccurate because she was doing everything that I listed to build her brand. They didn't even say they dated or whatever till 2008, exactly when they got married. If she had it her way we probably even know they did if someone didn't tell about the wedding, she doesn't look for press.

Honestly I think the Grammys should revoke Britney's only award like they did to Milli Vanilli since apparently she didn't sing Toxic's chorus either.
Wow wow wow what a fraud

And as to that foolish Iggy stan, no one in that label thought Rih would be the star she is today. She never got any privileges or major promo and at times had to rely on companies to help her shoot videos and promo let alone the fact that her debut album was literally made out of demos, yet Rih still managed to get a No.2 and No.1 lead singles without any big name attached to the songs. Jay Z didn't play as big a role as most are led to believe and Jay Brown and L.A Reid proved this.

Beyoncé never gave Kelly credit for singing the second verse of Check On It. Besides, before the Britney Jean tribute album, there was JLO.

Actually I'd argue that DC had it hard since their constellation was unusual compared to other globally successful girl groups at that time. She only happened to be the most mesmerizing figure out of them. There's no surprise she turned out to be the one with the biggest career when DC practically was solely her the whole time anyway.

Are u from the States?
Jay had more respect and was more acclaimed but his music wasn't bigger than them. These are facts.

Something JLO and Bey share in common is that they don't give credit where it's due.
What great company indeed.
