There were rumors that Britney did 2000 sit-ups a DAY to get the body she had. It wasn't all just Starbucks and Cheetos.

And why is he acting like people have just kissed Britney's ass from the moment she hit the scene? Britney was never given the respect she deserved. She was always being criticized for something, especially at her peak, when she was an A+ performer. They dragged her for every little mistake she made. That's a part of what lead to her breakdown.

People forgave Britney because they wanted to see her win again after literally being driven out of her mind. Not necessarily because she was white.

Beyoncé had it no harder than any other up-and-coming R&B artist at that time. In fact, she had it in some way much easier (due to her father and Jay-Z) seeing as she achieved global success with a genre as local as R&B. That doesn't mean Britney struggled either. Both had a comparably smooth start into the industry. Beyoncé just managed to keep her fame afloat while Britney didn't. I fail to detect a race issue here or an indicator of white preference when Beyoncé is clearly bigger nowadays.

Beyoncé managed to keep her fame because she has smart people around her. Without Jay Z, Beyoncé wouldn't have been **** today. People don't give Jay any credit. He's a very smart man.

My post sounds like a reach. Like I'm sure she would've still been successful today, but not as succesful. I also don't think she'd hold the image she has today if it weren't for Jay. The huge amounts of money and the powerful image didn't come pouring in until after she married Jay.
