I got into Kacey Musgraves and decided I need to start getting into country finally. Who do y'all recommend?
Kacey is flawless My favourite country artist.
If you're into females similar to Kacey: Kelsea Ballerini, Cassadee Pope, Jana Kramer.
Some who are a little more countrified: Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Maddie & Tae.
Males I'd recommend: Luke Bryan, Old Dominion, The Swon Brothers.

Stacey. gave some good suggestions up there. You might also like Ashley Monroe or the Pistol Annies. I haven't listened to Ashley's newest album yet, but Like A Rose is a pretty great listen and not too long of a listen either.
If you're looking for older stuff, can't go wrong with Patsy Cline.
As for the guys: Dierks Bentley (the guy in my avatar) is my favorite country artist along with Sam Hunt. Traveler by Chris Stapleton is probably the best recent country album by a male.

They're all great suggestions too, I love "Like A Rose" and I wasn't actually aware Ashley had an album out but I definitely will take a listen some time (still sooo many albums I wanna get through atm though).
Chris Stapleton is one I just can't get into and I don't really know why, I just find him kinda boring. After he won a few CMA awards I decided to check him out but I was disappointed.
Die A Happy Man is amazing. Thomas' whole album is amazing. Luke should take notes for his next album. Kill The Lights came and went quicker than Focus
Dierks' new song is a boring continuation of Drunk On A Plane and the rest of his recent stuff.
Cam's new album is pretty good.
I like this new Canadian duo, signed to Dallas Smith's label.
Yaaas @ Cam's album. She's got a kind of Carrie vibe about her in some of her songs, I think her music takes a while to get into though.
!!! Cam's debut is good. I feel like she's capable of a lot more though. I definitely see a bit of Carrie in her but with less exciting stories in her songs.

2015 has truly been great with country music! Kacey, Carrie and Thomas all came out with flawless albums. Sam Hunt remained flawless eternally and Luke Bryan was just there with his album, just there...

I'm definitely trying to get into older Country artists as well. I watched the video for Reba's Fancy a couple months ago and I loved how focused the story was. Plus the song was so damn dramatic.
"Fancy" is an amaaazing song. Admittedly I'm not totally clued up with all the old country music (Dolly being an exception to the rule), it just feels too outdated mostly for my personal taste, but there are definitely some hidden gems.
^^^ All those midtempo songs are so boring to me. Like Dan + Shay's new song, From The Ground Up. Bleh. I loved their debut, so I hope the album is better.
