Discussion: Did you REALLY like C2C?

And I mean like really really like it? I'm only asking because I'm listening to it right now and I've just realized that I honestly only use 6-7 songs on it, the 3 Gaga solo's included of course. Jazz (or rather "traditional pop") ain't my thing but I was here for the Queen of Pop and supported her every step of the way

Yeah. She's improved a ton as a vocalist in the two years post it though. You can tell she wasn't entirely sure how or what to do just yet and does spend a lot of time trying to steal the thunder from Tony in their duets. Her solo songs (Lush Life is very good, one of the best recordings of that song) are really great though. I'm excited for whenever they make their second LP, I think she's grown enough to really sink her teeth into things.

but TBH I really expected songs like gaga's cover "orange colored sky" ...CTC was definitely not good in that respect..I only use some songs and find some songs on it straight up cringey

Yeah, It was on loop for like 2 weeks but then i got bored, the live performances gave me life tho

Occasionally. It's not what I listen to on a daily basis, but it's a great listen when I want to relax or I'm simply in the mood for some jazz.

Anything Goes, Cheek To Cheek, Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye, It Don't Mean a Thing, Goody Goody, Firefly... all great songs

It's a side project. I like it for what it is and I can enjoy it and it's nice to have it. Obviously I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much if she had treated it as a main project but I did like this.

Edit: Howveer I wish they didn't stick to singing AMerican songs only. Like my only wish from C2C was to see Gaga cover an Amy Winehouse song, preferably Back To Black.
