Yes alot of aspects are luck based but that doesn't change the fact that game is still quite strategic and that you have actually plan and think about what team and movesets to use or what you and/ or your opponent will do next

Plus, competitive players tend to impose rules that minimize the luck-based aspects of the game (no evasion, no swagplay, etc.).
