The Simpsons is currently airing its 27th season and its ratings are still good. The quality of the season is pretty spectacular compared to other recent seasons too. "Barthood" and "Teenage Mutant Milk-Caused Hurdles" are gold. Soon they will air an episode of Smithers coming out to Mr Burns.

From what i have heard, they lifted their game. It only took 17 seasons.

Tbh I just want Simpsons Hit & Run 2 and the franchise can come back in 10 years.

Tbh I think Fox may have said they need to lift their game or they will axe the show.
Not that they ever would, but just as a threat.

I mean they have wanted to make a sequel to the Simpsons movie for years now, but the popularity isn't there.

Talent. But Family Guy is the better adult animated sitcom

its last few seasons are actually crappy too much Lisa development, but this season is great! Barthood actually made me cry.

The non-TOH Halloween episode was their best in years.

This new season has been really good. I stopped watching a while back when it stopped being funny but I stumbled across the new episodes when I was bored and was laughing and impressed by the god story lines.

I mean, it really is still a good show.

I need to watch this season, stopped watching new seasons after 18 or 19
Seasons 3-4-5 remain my favorites
