Ok Dan Schneider, it has nothing to do with Avril's sales. I'm not even a legitimate stan of Avril, but I still find the 2002-2004 version of her more captivating and interesting than the industry's current popstars post-2010, or at least the kids they're desperately trying to make ones....
And if you read my OP, I was just watching the "MTV diaries" of Xtina, Brit, and Avril. Do I think they're the absolute most amazing artists? Not really, but they still, amongst many who debuted years ago and are still outdoing the current ones today, are more interesting. That's the whole point of my thread.
If the music isn't the focus, don't you think the star power and appeal should be?
