I'm pretty sure you just read "Islam orders to cut the thief's hand", did you read "CERTAIN conditions" ??
Anyways I'm not here to change your mind about it or your opinion. All what I'm gonna say that theft is a crime and sometimes people who lose their money or their stuff they might kill for it so I think cutting the thief's hand isn't that horrible when you think about it.
