It's a double standard.
Besides the fact that so much in our society is based on systematic discrimination rooted in fact. Take car insurance premiums for example. Young men between the ages of 16-25 pay the highest car insurance premiums solely based on their age and gender. Why? Because statistics have shown that they are the most prone to reckless driving. Does that mean that EVERY man between the ages of 16-25 is a reckless driver? Obviously not. However, that doesn't change the fact that they all pay higher rates as compared to women in the same age range. Conclusion, it is discrimination based on age and gender, but the data backs up the discrimination.

Stop being off-topic. Do you have anything new to say about this actual issue of trans-people being attacked in Dortmund? No? Ok.
It is awful what happend. I feel sorry for the victims of this attack.
Homo-and Transphobia is unfortunately something that results in violence and threats all around the world, even in Germany, probably almost every day. Mostly by those who are the next ones: family members, neighbours, classmates. We hardly read about it in the papers, cause it doesn't make quite a good headline and most of it is left unreported.
Saying that most or all Arabic countries are homophobic is not solving the issue either. It also doesn't add anything new we don't know already.
Nobody can be outraged about this when this happens there also quite often.
If you want to be upset about something, you should be upset about the actual issue, not WHERE it was comitted.
If you just say: I am outraged, cause it is comitted in a country I care about or who is similar to mine, is weak.
What about the gays, lesbians and transsexuals in countries like Iraq, Afghanistan or Syria?
They also get killed daily an no1curry.
These people are here now and there is no reason for pointing out how horrible the circumstances for the LGBT community in these countries are, how they threat women etc. except you want to change something.
These problems have arrived with them and the refugees are all around the world by now.
We can not expect that countries like Germany (or most western countries) who highly benefit from wars all over the world, won't get to taste their own poison. We export in these countries in billions and the arms industry is the main contributer.
Now that the refugees are here, we can only do our best and try to integrate them into our society the best we can or at least stop attacks like these, because it is our country and our responsibilty as a society.
If it doesn't work, there will be solutions to deal with the issue.
Sending everybody back is not solving anything, cause ppl will find ways to come illegally. It's a neverending circle.
And portying ppl from Arabic countries almost like demons or wild animals isn't helping either.
