Maybe they should have a space reserved for a POC/Black in the nominations or something ? I genuinely find the fuss being made about an award so weird.

It's not simply about winning an award, it's about your worth and artistry as an actor being acknowledged. From getting the roles to getting some recognition.

Where did she say anything about blacks? Or do you think "people of color" only means black people? Because that's way more cringeworthy than anything anybody has said about this whole Oscars fiasco.

They'll give a nomination/award to a mediocre white person before they give one to a deserving poc. To say race doesn't play a part in this would be a lie
