Organized religion was never right. It was created to control people and has spawned so much hate and war throughout history.

But generally. Religion is wrong in its concept. From day one, people believed in what they feared and what they didn't know. The very early humans would see a lightning causing fire and they couldn't explain it. They feared it, they believed in the god of lightning. Then the gods of rain, sun, moon, light etc. The more they couldn't explained, the more they believed. Basically all of pagan religions. Then as times passed, humans mastered their own fire, understood seasons, sun, light, etc, the basic gods started to fade and more complex organized religions appeared. Ones with more complex deep stories based on nothing, conveniently dating back hundreds and thousands of years before anyone currently living and could never check for authenticity.
Religions in a nutshell: I say something, you have to believe, you need to have faith in it no matter what or you are going to hell.
