But for yourself, every breath you take is precious, eternal and as you exhale, remember it will never return to your lungs, time flows forward and never backwards, you were belched forth since your birth on a ride, ruthless, unwavering and unforgiving that will not stop to allow you catch your breath, and as the years go by, so will the chances of ever truly realizing what you spent years in your mind evading, running from and living. Try to reach back and kiss someone you've lost forever, or listen to their voice whisper a kindness, share a laugh, and you'll understand there's no going back. Maybe in a thousand years they'll figure out how to, but for you, and me, right now, there's no going back, and that is the simple bare bone reality we live in.
