Interscope wouldn't drop the album so soon after what happened with ARTPOP. They'll test the waters first with single #1, and depending on how that goes it will determine single #2 and or the album release. You'll see

1st Single - May
2nd Single - August
Promo Single - First half September
Album Release - Send Half September

I still think they might have lied about the Grammys, only cuz I don't know what she can perform and I don't think it's TIHTY, since I believe they'd leave it for the Oscars.

But if she doesn't release then, Lead single is definitely coming in March and Album in May.

I personally think she is going to go with a similar release schedule to Born This Way with the lead single being released in place of Judas instead of being premiered at the Grammys.

And the only reason ARTPOP came out in Q3/4 2013 was cuz of Gaga's surgery.

Troy Carter already said back then that if it depended on him, AP would've been out in Q3/4 2012. Gaga needed more time, then she had to delay it cuz of the surgery and she was messy from 2012 to 2013 with weed, depression and so on. The surgery was the icing on the cake.

Now Gaga, her manager Bobby and Interscope are ALL on the same page. The album is not coming after the summer The single is not coming in late Spring either.

I don't know how some of you are so adamant on it coming so soon.. We literally have no information, which I think is the intention this time around. Somewhat like a debut album, where you don't experience the artists creative process. Which is new for her because we've always been apart of that, but I really think it's a good idea.

I hope 2016 is an amazing year for her musically, I will be willing to sacrifice 2017 to have one amazing 2016 for her. The media aren't always going to be so kind, we've seen it happen before, and I bet! If she smashes with this record, that in 2017 she'll do like her first movie role which will be dragged to the pits, which I'll be ok! I just want new music

I think around her birthday end March, she stated she wants to go into her 30s with a bang, what better way to do so with a new album/main single.
If there is nothing planned after the Oscars she better strike that iron while it's hot and announce the single max 4 weeks later when the buzz has died down a bit.
