Lady Gaga, The Weeknd and Sam Smith each scored their maiden nominations in the best original song category for various 2015 tracks. Gaga, a newly minted Golden Globe-winning actress, earned her bid with “Till It Happens To You.” Upon its nomination, the song flew to No. 1 on the Trending 140, its first time leading the list since Jan. 6.
