She could have just ended her statement with it's been a great year in film across the board. The last sentence referencing a sheet of paper was random, and speed what up? She just added in a random blanket statement lol

The acting was just okay TBH, totally not Oscar worthy. Also people who complain about these things probably never seen one of those other movies nominated.

The lack of racism is refreshing

But **** the Oscars, white people are too dense and shallow to see past skin color, its a fact.

They didn't cut the nominations, though, and they never nominated 10 movies in the Best Picture category this decade, it went as high as nine and that's probably because they have to get a certain amount of votes to be in that lineup.

And really people should understand that it is all a result of campaigning, for the most part, very few actors/movies can get without campaigning. It is studios that decide what's worth campaigning since campaign equals more money spent on the movie.

Creed has Stallone and SOC has screenplay nominations.

It's understandable, she's put in a very sensitive situation. First as being the Academy president, second as being a black woman. There's not much to say when you're in her situation without receiving any backlash.
