The movie is getting a fresh reboot, I don't know how to feel about this though.

The Chronicles of Narnia film franchise quickly went from treading dawn to treading water, and five years after its most recent entry it's finally set to return - kind of. Mark Gordon, the producer of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair, told Collider that the adaptation of Narnia's fourth book is in active development, but that it won't be the fourth film in the franchise: The Silver Chair will be the start of its own Narnia movie line.
The first and second movies were really great, I really don't get how the second one went downhill after the success the first one was. The third one was decent at most, I still enjoyed it but a reboot? From a fourth movie?
Should've done The Magician's Nephew. Much more suitable for reinvigorating a franchise, it's centered around entirely new characters and discovering magic, and seeing Narnia for the first time. So it's very similar to TLTWATW in that respect.
But whatever, I need a high fantasy film series in my life, and this will do.
Eustace should be much more bearable without that horrid actor from Dawntreader

There is no book in the series with this name. I think you mean the Magicians Nephew

Yes!! Thank you for correcting me, I don't know where I pulled that name from
I think The Magicians Nephew would be a much better "reboot" considering they're recasting everyone and I don't know how they can pull off The Last Battle (This must be what I confused Magicians Nephew with, my bad) without familiar faces. I sort of with they brought the same actors back.
The franchise's record is so weird:
First one quadrupled its budget. Smash!
Second one couldn't even double its budget. Flop.
Third one probably about broke even; more than double but not triple its budget.
