There will be no Season 2 as confirmed at the TCA Panel.
“As far as I know there are no more incarnations of Heroes coming,” NBC entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt told reporters Wednesday at the Television Critics Assoc. winter press tour in Pasadena, adding that it was “always the plan” to do just one season “unless [series creator] Tim [Kring] woke up one day and said, ‘Oh, I have another chapter to tell.’
“I think we’re coming to the end… of the world, maybe,” Greenblatt added with a smirk. “Stay tuned.”
Wasn't it only ever planned as a miniseries?
As is, this season is the utter pits.
I was all for another chance for Heroes, but what they delivered was just unbearable.
It was a bad idea from the get-go - they couldn't get Hayden back (which should've ended talks tbh bc Claire was the centerpiece of Heroes). But still, they ended up centering plotlines around her character - which speaks volumes.
