I remember playing blindly through sapphire as a kid, everything was new to me. I didn't know anything about Gen III. When I encountered the trainer who had Milotic I was so struck by it. I ran to the dex to look at where I could find it only to find out it evolved from feebas. Well, I never encountered a feebas when I would fish for it. I didn't get one until there was a pokemon era at my school and everyone brought their games. Someone was kind enough to trade me one
