Poor Wakka ha only vote from me. Though when I voted I was just thinking about how hot he is, I forgot how much of a bigoted, ignorant mess his character is.

I love all the characters, though.

People do so much on this and forget he grows as a character/person. He has some obvious anti-Al-Bhed prejudices (due to his strong belief in the faith of Yevon and the Al Bhed, well, completely violating those beliefs), but he also completely grows past them by the end of the game. His arc is a big reason why he's one of my favs

Definitely grreat character development And while a lot of these things give their more prejudiced characters flimsy rationals for it (Ashley from Mass Effect is a notable offender), the logic does make sense with Wakka. The main reason he even became so strongly affiliated with Yevon is because of his brother's death... which, I believe, was due to Al Bhed machina malfunctioning (more "proof" that Yevon faith is right and machina IS bad)
