I am not recognizing myself. I usually I am a freaking huge hater of this type of songs loved and adored by the general public but this cover of 'Ain't Nobody' makes me feel SO good. I can't help it! I genuinely love it and would replay it forever. When I go out and it plays, I just feel so relaxed and chill. The beat is so smooth just like Jasmine's vocals and I really love the mix! I hope 2016 is as good as this year was when it comes to this type of songs! It is funny because everytime I think of this song, 'How Deep Is Your Love' also comes to mind but one is gold, other is very mediocre, isn't it?

Ciara's last entry is here and this is only because she did not release anything else from 'Jackie', something she should have done for sure. 'Dance Like We're Making Love' is so sexy (Well, it features Ciara's vocals!) and I just can't help but love it. Besides its sensuality, I also feel like this song is very smooth and very relaxing. I like how the beat and the register is always kept low. The song, nonetheless, doesn't sound that fresh as it gives me some throwback vibes... In a good way. Something that could've been released in 2007/08.

This is Rihanna's first appearance. When I first heard 'American Oxygen' it became automatically my favorite track off this R8/Anti era but it became quite old and it is a fact that it didn't go anywhere. I would blame it on the its lenght and in its weird instrumental. Besides those type of 'american' songs sometimes are hard to understand and love. Anyway, I felt like this song was quite of a fresh sound and, also, original taking in consideration the two previous singles. It showcases versatility which is very good and positive. My favorite part of this song has to be the chorus and the way Rihanna uses her accent in words like 'empire' sounding like 'empa'. I think it's cute!

I loved 'EMOTION' to death and, actually, there was a time I loved this song to death too. Nonetheless, I don't find it as fresh, as amazing or as original as the rest of her album. I think it was a smart choice as a first single, in fact, it managed to become a smash in some countries and it kind of has the 'Call Me Maybe' formula going on but I guess there can only be one 'Call Me Maybe'. 'I Really Like You' is more mature than the classic hit, it is a very funny and upbeat song, I feel the love, the passion and how her vocals fit the theme of the song. How she is kind of shy and all that but she lets it all out! It is a very cute song!

We have a new Dumblonde song here. 'White Lightning' continues the uniqueness of their sound, as it is very alternative, very dance and also very electronic. I guess, with this album and choice of singles, they managed to find a sound that is very characteristic of them. This type of instrumentals and the voice effects are very interesting and peculiar. I had a hart time, though, getting into this specific one. It did not have the magic the other five had (this was part of the first release). With time, I started getting into it and I love the energy it gives me.

I never heard Avril's self-titled album but I admit I fell in love with songs such as 'Rock N Roll', 'Hello Kitty' and this flawless acoustic song. 'Give You What You Like' is just too good and I can't believe it was ignored like that. It is relaxing and it mixes some mysterious with vulnerability which is a very interesting mix. This song is also interesting because of its lyrics... How she is unsure if this is love or only excitement. I genuinely love it!

One more from Dumblonde. I believe 'Tender Green Life' was the first song I heard from Dumblonde. Just like 'White Lightning' it didn't stuck at first... I guess it has to do with its music style, being this alternative and fresh, you just kind of find it weird at first and then you get used to it and end up loving it. 'Tender Green Life' reminds me of green actually as it reminds me nature, don't ask me why. It just sounds like such a natural song. It surely is one of Dumblonde's best songs! I love the tone they use in the song and how it makes it feel so relaxed and 'green'.

I love how her vocals are SO smooth and so sensual, it just makes the song go along with every circumstance. This will be the last entry from a portuguese act. Luciana Abreu has finally released a real first single from a well-produced (soon to be released) album in more than 10 years. Luciana Abreu got her breakthrough in portuguese Idol and she has been the biggest celebrity out of that program. She has been focusing way too much on acting and leaving music for a backup plan. This song is sad but, at the same time, full of attitude and that's what makes me so satisfiest with the final result. Besides, the production doesn't even sound portuguese! I hope she slays during 2016. This song was really, really good.

How I love Kelly. I believe 'Heartbeat Song' adds nothing to her repertoire because of how generic it sounds. I also have to point out how Kelly never gave up on this song and how she promoted her ass off, that's beautiful to see! 'Heartbeat Song' is such a good song afterall and I love its bridge to death. The chemistry between Elina and Stig is just too real. You can feel sadness, you can feel disappointment, it just gets to you. My mom is such a fan of this. Queen Paris! 'High Off My Love' was such a pleasant surprise because I did like 'Come Alive' and 'Good Time' but I knew Paris could do better and voilá! Here it is the result! This song is so dark, so sexy, so mysterious. The production is out of the roof and I love how she finally expriments something not generic as the previous two singles. I am sad though that, only because it is Paris, no one will ever pay attention to it. I do love how this is so different yet you can recognize Paris' tone in two seconds. She is so unique and funny!

I feel like she sounds extremely bitter but I do appreciate it. Taylor is so dramatic though. The only good thing the remix has on the original version is the production. Taylor does sound upset but I love how she goes like all ironic during the chorus. Sometimes, in certain songs, I have key elements that I simply love and 'Bad Blood' is one of them. Just like 'Colours Of Your Love', the production of 'Firestorm' is quite flawless and Conchita delivers an amazing vocal performance. I am here for this Queen ALL the time.
