christrondsenTook this pic of Jennifer Lawrence last night at the Golden Globes. ❤️ There are a lot of negative rumors going around that she was disrespectful to a reporter & rude because English isn't his first language. It's sad because I was right there in the front row & that's just NOT true! The reporter was holding up his phone, taking photos + video of Jennifer while asking his question and she found it distracting. I found it distracting too. She asked him to put his phone down. Then, she had literally JUST won a Golden Globe & he asked about the Oscars just seconds after winning. It wasn't the time or place. She handled it in usual Jennifer Lawrence humor & the reporter himself laughed as well as the rest of the press. Don't believe the rumors, I was there & Jennifer Lawrence was in no way rude. She was a sweetheart when she answered my question & was nice to all the press. 😊 #jlaw #jenniferlawrence #goldenglobe #goldenglobes
I have more reason to believe someone who was actually at the press conference than people on the internet saying the reporter had to look at his phone to read his question. It still doesn't excuse Jennifer's tone with the man and she could've handled it better but people reaching the stars calling her a racist is unnecessary.
The guy was obviously laughing himself because he was embarrassed. It's like when you trip and you naturally laugh as a coping mechanism, like you're in on the joke.
It's possible the rest is true but the bitch didn't even let the guy finish his question which could have been related to back to the GG's.

Who cares what the reason is. What JLaw did was very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. There are times that you have to be the bigger man (woman) and not engage in anything. I love her a lot but she seems full of herself sometimes.
The industry never ceases to amaze me. The moment someone goes high and reached a high peak, they immediately want to take them down for the throne they first put them.
