A study from the University of Alberta, published in the journal Developmental Psychology last year, shows that happiness increases after the teenage years.
The study looked at two other longitudinal studies that followed two groups for a quarter century. The first team follows high school seniors from the ages of 18 to 43 and another group of university seniors from 23 to 37. Happiness increased into the 30s, while the high school group saw a slight dip by age 43.
More control, freedom and independence, more capability to get away from stupid people, and less worrying about what the **** others think. Less worrying about aging and just learning to live with it, and knowing that it doesn't mean you have to stop having fun.
