ARTPOP is okay, which is never enough for Lady Gaga. She needs to deliver a great record.

ARTPOP doesn't hold the quality her two previous albums had. The whole thing came across like a bad joke in itself. But here hoping her next album is amazing

People does the most about ARTPOP, I can name alot of pop albums that are way worse, but Gaga is always judged in a different scale.

It's very strange imo. The production isn't great and she sings weird on some songs

Artpop was disappointing as a LG album. People expect Gaga to release high quality material, and Artpop was an average pop album. Queen of high standards.

ARTPOP isn't that bad honestly

Which she did with Born This Way and got thrown under the bus all because of the lead single. I think she knew what she was doing (and I bet she had to fight to make "Born This Way" the lead single! Interscope knew damn well it was going to alienate her audience) but she did it to support what she believes in, equality. It was a bold move that she gets zero credit for.

Anyway, the rest of the album was damn good and it's very under-appreciated.

People just need to stop expecting Gaga to re-invent music all over again, expect something ok and hope for something brilliant.

That's so true, it's because her standard is so much higher than every other pop girl in the industry.
For other artists a release is good enough for their fans.

It should be better than BTW at the least. Artpop was of quality. BTW was almost unlistenable to me.

DWUW & G.U.Y. were really good. Artpop, the song, was okay - mainly because of the live version she did of it where her hair was glowing. The rest of it wasn't good.

But we all know she has much more potential than that and given the reception ARTPOP had she's going to deliver quality this time. She also seems so much happier.

If she releases anything close to the masterpiece Born This Way

DWUW is pop masterpiece, G.U.Y in the other hand was a bad intent to recreate another Bad Romance they sound alike and its instrumental is so basic, but I understand Gaga at some point she was in pain because of her hip, she was rushed, worked singing over beats not in a piano as she used to do, you can say she was running against the time because she was practically buying beats and singing over them, ex: Donatella, Aura, MJH and i dont remember what else.

That's why she is taking her time now, it will be almost 3 years since ARTPOP if she releases in august which I think she will do, she always releases when big events are happening so it's most likely.

I don't think ARTPOP is praise-worthy, but I just can't take people seriously who act like it's terrible and flopped spectacularly.

Like, c'mon. Let's try to be at least a little sensible.
