I saw someone mention this in another thread so I googled it and he only received 1 Grammy in 1985 for Best Video, Short form. After 10 nominations, why do you think he only won 1 award? He's been an undeniable legend for a very long time, with huge impact and incredible music. Discuss!
Grammys do not always equate talent or legacy. He is not the only legend to be snubbed by them either, for example Queen and Diana Ross don't even have one.

This. Too many members on this site are obsessed with technicalities and numbers. They're unable to step back and see the whole picture. (not shading the OP).

If it wasnt for them some of our faves wouldnt be getting Grammys either.
Bowie was not a mainstream pop musician in the 70's and 80's. He was a music experimentalist. He combined art, culture and music. It's the norm now but 30 years ago he was not accessible to the mainstream Grammy voters (most people did not understand what he doing.).
