For me it's easier because I have a lot of music to catch up on and there'll be enough pop girl albums this year to keep me satisfied. She can drop a soundtrack song if she must.
I'm ok with her waiting till 2017 right now but i know by August i'll be like
Same honestly. I'm not tired with 1989 and I was already so excited about LP5 in like, Oct 2013.

In that respect I'm not worried about her getting washed away w/ all the releases in 2016 but rather that the break between 1989 and T6 will be too short. It's her biggest era ever and people will need time to miss her. I still feel like 2016 is too soon for the amount of NONSTOP exposure she had during the end of 2014 and most of 2015.
If Adele's return has taught us anything it's that Taylor will have a LOT of hype surrounding her next release, whether that comes this year or next. So she should just take a lengthy break, enjoy her life, and come back in 2017.
True... I wonder what the next 7 months off will change. Maybe that's enough for people to miss her?

This will also provide more time for Calvin to be a loser and cheat on her. And then she'll serve us a Lykke Li-sized masterpiece
It would be fun if Taylor will go head to head with Katy, Bey, Britney, Adele, Miley, Ariana, it'll be exciting but I'm not her for Taylor releasing too soon. She'll be overexposed and her next record will be less successful. Taylor will all outsell them in album department anyway whenever she release + Katy is the only one bigger than her in singles department.
I like how despite its lack of any SMASH hit (idk this might be the definition of cultural impact for people on here, not me though), Speak Now is a classic amongst Her fans. I can tell it'll still be one of the more popular choices for fanfave years later. Really impactful!
Will OOTW be Taylor's biggest flop since The Story of Us? I remember The Story of Us was struggling to reach the top 60 of itunes before. In the end it didn't reach Platinum sales.

From single release wise, her promotional single will always flop
Should I remind you all Red sat around Top 150 when it was released as single?
Thanks CMA and its live performance version to save its face
Not to mention Fearless, as I remembered it only peaked at #79 when it was released as single
