If anything, it only reinforces just how massive Star Wars is and yes, The Revenant opening so strong is impressive; especially considering the circumstances surrounding its release and the kind of movie it is.

Precisely. This shows how big of a draw Leo's name is. According to Deadline most saw this getting an opening in the low 20s (http://deadline.com/2016/01/star-war...ce-1201676277/) yet he was able to propel this to a high 30s opening. Sure this is Star Wars 4th weekend but it's still doing big business. Nice try ya'll.
