You should go if you don't mind not having a ~traditional~ college campus and love city life. The area is nice though. Many people from my high school go and then realize NYC isn't all it's cracked up to be. Also, I've heard the course load is crazy.

Honestly it depends what you're studying. A lot of my friends are usually free a lot of the time bc they don't have much to do unless they're crunching to complete something. Then I have others who literally can't have a life because they have so much ****ing work. But the latter is, at least in my experience, made up of science majors.
I love not living on a campus. I realize how high school that would be to live in a little ecosystem outside of the real world for 4 years with the same ass people in bumble**** nowhere only to get plopped out with no idea what to do or what's out there.
