TFM alone has outsold all of Britney's post-2004 albums combined. Why? The trend continues even in 2016 as Gaga's jazz album cover doubled the WW sales of Britney's last studio album.

What baffles me the most is that she did it in a 2x-3x smaller sales climate.

Also Lucy your post is made up. Britney does not get more recurrent anything than Gaga except for BOMT views on YouTube. That should be expected though since Gaga's channel has only gotten 2 new videos in the past 5 years while Britney has released multiple, including one just last year!

Sure, she's sold fewer albums, but she's had more hits, bigger hits, more successful tours, has earned more money overall, has won more important awards, is more acclaimed, etc., etc. Her jazz album sold more in the U.S. alone than 'Britney Jean' did worldwide, after everyone had written her off and the Army had deemed her over.

Britney Spears has sold more albums than her only due to the climate in which she débuted.

Even if you add Britney's pre-2004 career, Britney getting almost outsold in overall record sales by an artist with less than half the amount of albums is sad.

Britney sold more albums because she debuted when they were big, yet your fave debuts were touring is big and digital sales are huge yet that makes her bigger despite Britney peaking when singles were physical, double the price, harder to get a hold of and the majority of her singles didn't even get released in the US talk about double standards!
