Great taste, although I *****d out Ray of Light so I don't care for it much anymore. Plus it lacks the warmth of a lot of her other work. Even American Life feels more like her imo. I think she just thought Orbit was cool and went with the flow, which admittedly led to an amazing album and her lyricism is amazing, particularly on DW/SFL, Swim and Mer Girl, but some of it is too much of not enough. I still love it but it's not the peak people make it out to be imo.
Yes, Erotica really doesn't get enough credit for being amazing. But your version obviously doesn't have Did You Do It?
If anything I think that she ruined the magic of her work with Orbit with Music. Runaway Lover, Amazing etc sound like ROL rejects, in spite of being good songs. I get what you mean though
And I love Did You Do It lol. It's so messy and I still don't understand what she tried to do with that song
