Kelly. The only era Britney seemed to be more than averagely involved in and interested in making an introspective, creative, somewhat personal album was In the Zone. She seems like the kinda person whose label is usually like, "Hey, you should work with this producer" and she says, "Okay, cool."

Neither at the moment. Seems like they spend 30 min in the studio recording each of their recent albums. The songs all seem pre-written and pre-produced to the max.
The Britney will never in her life produce something as amazing as MD. Kelly was 100% involved in the writing of the album, and it came out so interesting and genuinely raw.
